Hi, I've just built 2 new machines. Identicle.
Abit IP35 and Corsair HX 520W, Intel 6750 chips. I think there are problems with the motherboards but can anyone confirm or deney please?
Machine 1 :
After doing strange power cycling (as per this thread : http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17817350) it will then just hang at the ABIT splash screen. Occasionally after a CMOS clear it will get a bit further and show up a POST screen if we press tab. ONCE it got as far as doing a full POST and then sat there with a blank screen and a flashing white block in the top left corner of the screen. I've never been able to get this machine into the BIOS.
Machine 2 :
This machine is in a worse shape this the first. It has the same power cycling problem but it show nothing to the screen and doesn't give a beep. I've checked all connectors, and cleared the CMOS. I suspect this has a bIOS / motherboard fault. Anything I can try?
