New build won't post

Just put together my new p67a-g45, i5 2500 and ripjaw ram and it won't post. I turn it on and the case fans and CPU fan start up, along with the power led and then 2 seconds later it powers off again. It then powers up after a few more seconds and continually goes through this on/off cycle forever.

Any clues as to what's going on here?

All power connectors in including 8 pin for CPU power and both connectors for the gpu if it requires 2, also check the memory is in the correct slots.

Also try a CMOS reset.

8 pin? Err I have to do that as well as the 24 pin?
