New Build Won't Work

Hi!

Ive just put together my new build
Asus P5KC mobo
3870 hd
corsair 650W
etc.

Anyway, When I turn it on the fans on the cpu, grafix card and chassis fans give a short whizz for about a second then nothing

All the time the LED indicator is on on my mobo

Does any1 please have any idea of whats up?

can you post your full specs please

suggestions
check everything is actually connected and connected properly

post here your MB's led indicator codes or patterns if they represent some sort of error, someone may know how to help.

google the method for testing your PSU with a paperclip and test it to see if it is the problem

it basically involves removing a jumper for a few seconds....google it and then look into your mobo manual. Knowing how to clear the cmos is schoolboy stuff for anyone wanting to build a pc
