Hey
im looking for some advice on a new build.
im planning on building a new gaming pc after xmas. i have £1500 to spend and need it to last about 2 years. i will want to overclock, i have a server for data storage and backups so large drive is not needed.
it is to replace my current pc (specs below)
AMD Opteron 170 CCBBE 0615 EPMW 290x10 = 2900mhz, @1.450v // Thermalright SI-120 + 120mm Fan
DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR
Crucial Ballistix 2GB DDR PC4000 (2x1GB) @ 241fsb (DDR 526) @ 2.6v @ 3/3/3/8
Enemax Liberty 620w
HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X1800XT 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
2x 160GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 NCQ SATA-II - *Raid 0*
Coolermaster Stacker // Akasa AK FC-03 Fan Controller
Samsung 16x48x DVD ROM // LG GSA DVD-RW
i will be selling this pc after i built the new one so any ideas on a rough price id get for it.

), but because of the new graphics cards being released soon as well as the new range of Intel Processors, and because like you said you plan to build the rig after christmas, chances are the spec will change as the new items are released and reviews on these components are released.
