New build

Hey im after some advice and hoping some of the more experienced could give me a hand
Im hoping to build a new small form factor- probably in a sugo sg01 or the lian li mini tower.
Im pretty much sorted in terms of components but stuck in terms of the motherboard.
Im after a socket am2 board, with 2 sata connections 1 for optical and 1 for HDD, support for 1066mhz ram 2gb of it and thats about it.
Thinking about running an amd 64x2 6000 or 6400 with 2gb of ram, 300-350gb hard drive and a corsair modular 520w psu. Gpu wise probably a 8800gts or possibly gtx depending on price drop after the new cards come out.
Any help would be appreciated. Or alternative suggestions welcome.

Iv been looking at the lian li v350b
The pc will be used for gaming and surfing primarily.
I am aware that intel are ahead in terms of cpu stakes, however the new intel cpu's to come out back end of the year, i have been told are using a different socket so if i was to build a core 2system now i could not upgrade at a later date. Whereas most of the am2 boards i have looked at are going to be compatiable with the am2+socket so in this respect if i built an amd rig now then it is more future proof.?
