Hey,

I'm looking to buy a new set up (Case and components only) and I have around £1400.

I need a system that can cope with high settings on games such as Crysis, COD4 and HL2 and also the demands of Video Editing. So it needs to have a good Quad core, so I can Video Edit and Render comfortably without too much stress. I've looked at this one, because of its overclocking ability:

I need about 4Gb of Ram also, and a very good GFX without being too over the top.
Personally, cheaper is better, I don't want to spend money unnecisserily.

Thanks ^^

Something along the lines of

q6600 £130
4gb of gskill/crosiar ram £80
2x ati 4870's £400
Asus/Dfi x48 motherboard. £150
Decent Psu £100
Samsung f1 1tb £100
True or tuniq tower cpu cooler £40

That works out at £1000ish so youve got £400 for a case and an optical drive and anyother bits and bobs.

Watercooling will fit into your budget if you want as well.

This is a "budget" offering for the spec that you want:

Didn't pick a case since that's subjectice to taste. Also not entirely sure which H/S fit that mobo.

If you want to spend more for a better spec, go X38 to get an even better overclocking results and full X16 crossfire support (you can even stick another card in the budget for crossfire).

or a better case?:)

or that, as I've said in a few threads recently i got a sharkoon Rebel12 Economy cases and it's by far the best case I've ever had, great build quality every thing located nicley, roomy. Even has holes for water cooling As well as Plenty of fixings for 120mm fans.

Should be able to pick one up for around £70 just can't link to competitors. I hope ocuk take my suggestion and stock them
