hey just wanted to check my build is good, Or if there are any recomendations.

Don't want really want to spend anymore

Thanks Ethan

Looks OK, Id change HDD to the Samsung Spinpoint F1 1Tb, Id also keep the gfx card you specced, if youre going to be OC'ing you want to look at an aftermarket cooler for your CPU
If you did want to save money, you could get a lesser specced mobo, the gigbayte UD4 is very good and will save you £65

what are the benefits of going for the larger HDD, I probably won't use that amount of storage space to be honest.

Sorry thought you meant save some more money and go for that Graphics card lol can't read. I don't intend to overclock at the moment espcially not on a I7.

regards to the final post at the moment i'm just using a 22" monitor but that will probably change i just trying to spec a rig that isn't going to curl up and die on games in a couple years time.

ok, if i was to buy two of 320gb drives and stick them in a mirrored raid would i notice much a difference in load times? never tried so just checking if its worthwhile.

Yes it would be faster also it's sacrilege not to at least overclock the 920 a bit and you wouldn't need any extra cooling for a mild overclock.

haha well i'd consider it but i've never overclocked so i'll probably try it on the old piece of rubbish my bro can have lol. But i'd have to look in to it more.

surely a 920 is fast enough as they are?

You've got to overclock! It's like having a Ferrari and only driving at 30mph if you dont:D

ok jst want a final check about my build.

1 more question before i order everything is it worth getting vista home prem over xp sp3?

just make sure you get a 64bit OS otherwise it will only recognise 3gb RAM, vista ultimate

also dont worry about that hdd, 7200 rpm is more than fast enough

lol ok ty totally for got about 32 bit and 64 bit. ok i'll get vista then. i guess i need to learn most of it for windows 7 anyway.
