new build

hi,
I am going to build a new machine in the next couple of weeks, it will be a thermaltake armor with vista ultimate 64 bit and the gigbyte x58 extreme mobo, intel i7 extreme, 6 gig of corsair dominater ram, 2x nvidia gtx 295, thermaltake spinQ heatsink, ThermalTake W0171 1500W ToughPower not sure how many hard drive's yet or dvd drives or what type of sound card. as this is the first pc i've built can anyone see any problems with this setup. i dont want to spend all this money and it be messed up. and any ideas where would be the cheapest place to get these parts, i have been watching ebay and i think it will cost about 2 grand to get the parts for this but if anyone knows anywhere cheaper it would be great. or any general advice on this would be hugely appreciated

That's like habing 4 GPUs.....DO IT, your PSU looks powerful enough so if you have the money I don't see why not.

i'd advise you to read the rules, asking for competitors names isnt looked on lightly

setup looks fine, not sure theres a lot out there it would be needed for, i'd say start with a single 295, only i7 extreme i can see on ocuk is £800+ which doesnt seem value for money to me so maybe get the 920 or 940.

cool cheers for the advice , i know 4 gpu's is overkill but i would like it to be the best machine i can build. i paid a few quid on an xps 630i about 6 months ago and it cant handle crysis an full settings it's very jittery and that with sli plus the motherbooard packed in last week. dont worry wont mention any competitors anymore didnt relise.
