Hi all, now that the new 32nms are out could someone give me good ideas of a new build, all i need is the base tower.
I want it to perform better than my old setup which was this,
  • Intel E8400 3Ghz @ 4Ghz
  • P5Q Pro Mobo
  • 4GB DDR2 1200Mhz RAM
  • 1GB F1 samsung HDD
  • 285GTX 1GB GPU

I havn't been keeping up to date with the latest tech so i am not sure what to go for.
The one thing i do want is the Antec 300 (got a soft spot for it).

My Budget is around £500

You might be better for now just selling the 285gtx and replacing it with a 5850 at the cost difference of under £100 (maybe a fair bit less if your lucky) and save the rest for when you'll notice a more clear cut difference.

It'd be a damn fast pc with just that investment and the rest might just be a bit wasted if your c2d already oc's happily to 4ghz..

Sorry I forgot to metion i don't have that PC anymore as i sold it over a year ago, i would like a replacment system :)
