I am looking to purchase a new build which will mainly be used for gaming and programming. Any suggestions would be more than welcome.

I already own Windows 7, two 1920x1080 monitors, keyboard and mouse.

Budget £700:

I am looking for

Code:
CPU
Cooler
Motherboard
RAM ( I already have 4GB of DDR3 in another PC that I could possibly use )
GPU
Case
HD ( Possibly SSD also if that fits in the budget )

I am aware the new ATI cards will be available soon and should most likely wait for them before purchasing a new card. Also, is it worth waiting for the sandy bridge chips?

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

i7 9xx isn't a good idea cos it means he can't re-use his RAM. What about this?:

looks like you have copied my first spec. :(

You included RAM which he dont need, Dragons gone OTT on cooler imo

Another slight variant, still very similar to your first build Stulid

Uses a better mobo and PSU (you can get that case with or without PSU - gone for without) to give you the option of maybe adding a 2nd gfx card down the line, add in your 4 gig DDR3, only thing missing is a cooler and main HDD (just realised now bout the HDD, that was a bit of an oversight, if you can go over by £30 add the 500 gig Seagate on TWO or the ever venerable Samsung F3)
