Hi Guys,

Looking to get the above componants for a new build. Just wondering if you guys have any recomendations for better stuff which isnt too much expensive. Really only have a budget of £600.

Cheers

Not sure if 500w will be enough. If you think it will be I'll do that if it's cheaper. Want room to expand to 2*6870s if I decide in the future.

Cheers =]

But more seriously, you aren't going to need a 750w, and you could get a lower wattage from a more reliable brand. After all, if your PSU blows, your whole system could be damaged- so it's an important component.

I'd say most of that stuff is the best for your price range- but do you need the Black Edition? I've heard it really makes no improvement.

I suggest 600-650w :) You can Crossfire with ease.

you need a motherboard that does symetrical crossfire, such as the MSI GD80 or GIGABYTE UD4.

and have some respect for your pc and buy a Antec new truepower 650w psu.

Just ordered my PC. It had better come tomorrow I can't wait!!!!

Couldnt sleep last night I don't know what I'll be like tonight. My nervs :P

That'll be fantastic. But be aware that that mobo doesn't support 'proper' x-fire so you'll want to restrict future graphics upgrades to sell+replace rather than adding another. Never mind - that's what most people do anyway even if they have the capability to x-fire/SLI

Ordered it this afternoon. Should arrive sometime tomorrow. It best do as I won't be able to sleep till it does.

I'll let yas know how it goes tomorrow :)

I take it the CPU comes with some thermal paste pre applied to the heatsink or pads or somthing? Or will I need to go out and purchase some more? I'd rather just get it working before I go out and do that.

Did you order the spec above? or did you change the PSU?

Assuming its retail then the standard heatsink comes with the paste allready on.
