hey guys i received my new pc today

my dad bought me a asus ati 5450 for it
i have it all installed and here is some screen shots of cpu-z etc and i will get some photos of interior tomorrow and upload on this thread :

vista 64bit was installed as my w7 wouldnt work as a boot as it was an upgrade disc

mm no offense but the graphics card installed probably wont power any modern games.

If im jumping to conclusions and your not gaming with it, then sorry

*edit* Prime95 or intelburntest for CPU stress

prime 95 will toast your cpu

check temps with coretemp

Furmark to stress test the graphics card if you want to.

The 5450 is by no means a high end card, but it WILL work just fine for games at a moderate resolution without AA.

quick prime test to push it to 100% gave me temps of 60 degrees on stock cooler i dont want to push it to limits yet as its on stock air and its new but im going to buy an aftermarker cooler

For £35 get the venom CPU cooler! I have it on my i5 760 @ 4ghz and temps are 35'c idle and 60'c loaded!.

cool might consider that then

i just upped my bclk in bios a little bit and its upped the cpu to 3.2 on the stock cooler and its keeping it at 40c when im just internet browsing etc

ok because i am allowed 20 pounds off my mother for a cooler

so i think for that price i will buy it and then get a hdmi cable so i can play it on the telly i have just ordered aswell

I have it myself and its decent but not for too high overclockers. Basically my i7 is @ 3.9Ghz but if i were to run prime it would take about 5 minutes before one core hit TJ max
