I'm building a computer for the first time and would appreciate some tips. I'll be using it for gaming (not cutting edge stuff - normally a couple of years behind), watching DVD rips (no HD, from a NAS) and photoshop as well as all the usual stuff (work, internet, webcam,...). Usually have quite a lot running at once.
I'm willing to fork out a bit more now for something that will last longer and/or is more future proof.
Will be running 32-bit OS.
Motherboard: Asus P7P55D-E LX
Processor: Intel i5-760 and Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
RAM: Corsair XMS3 (2 x 2GB)
Harddrive: Western Digital VelociRaptor 300 Gb
Graphics: Sapphire HD5670
Samsung SH-S222A
Any thoughts on where I can make big savings which won't have much impact or small extra costs which will have a worthwhile impact? Any tips for a case and PSU?
