New Build

Well I am looking to get a new Sandybridge build as my old computer is very outdated. I'm buying it in two parts though with this month buying the mobo, cpu, ram, case and psu. Next month I'm updating my graphics and hard-drives.

For this month I have a £500 budget.

I like that bundle as I've added up the parts and they ain't much cheaper, so I'm happy.

That case is really amazing and has more than enough space for what I want so I'm really happy for it.

I really need to find a good PSU that will be able to handle my 6950 when I get it. Does anyone have an ideas or thoughts on the changes I can make?

Are there any reasons your are buying the bundle? Isit because of the overclock? The 2500k series are easily overclocked even with a overclockers virgin

Hi and welcome.

The bundle seems like a good price including a warranty for only a little more than buying separately and the case is as you say big and decent from reviews I remember reading.

Yeah I am an overclock virgin but I am competent enough to do it myself but with the warranty on the bundle with only a slight price increase I'm happy

While I'm here will anyone tell me a good SSD and Sata HDD to get? Also which of the 6950's are rev1 and can be flashed.

None of the 6950's at OcUK are revision 1.

If you want a good size HDD with decent speed then try these:

I'm not aware of anywhere else which states if their cards are revision 1.

If you can find it this one may be unlockable but I don't think it's the same as this one.

One is the Dirt3 Edition and other just looks like a 6950 with a copy of Dirt3.
