Hey guys and gals!

Only my second post on these forums but i thought i would tell you about my build im planning.

I did post a while ago about my memory woes and found a lot of info on these forums regarding memory compatability with the build i wanted which was a Phenom 2 x6 build, after reading responses that i should go for a sandy bridge 2500k for gaming i have finally settled on these parts,

i7 2600k
Asus maximus extreme IV P67
Corsair Vengeance 16GB
OCZ ZX 1250W PSU
Asus gtx 580 matrix platinum x1 for now
Corsair force series 3 120GB SSD
Coolermaster HAF 932 Advanced
Seagate Barracude 1TB storage drive.

Those are the main parts, bearing in mind this will be watercooled (my first custom watercooled) system, im quite looking forward to this build, i did originally have a 6990 for this but ive seen a 580 sli out performs that and i will only be using 1 monitor 27" 1920x1080 i believe i think this is a good setup.
580 Sli will be later in the year and i know some of you may be thinking the PSU is overkill but its room for expanding in my mind. The last 2 computers i have bought have been off the shelf and the latest i have is a packard bell 8870 with a quad core6600 but since the bios is locked on the mb i cant do anything with it, ive seen how much cheaper it would be to build my own versus an off the shelf setup and im really looking forward to it, come 23rd of sept (payday).

I would love feedback on this build, and constuctive criticism but thanks to this forum its what im planning on, now roll on payday! :D

Remember before you say anything that i know a 2600k for gaming may be a lot and 16GB of memory may be too much but i want to future proof it for atleast 4 years, i have chosen one gfx card for now but leaves me room for another for 2/3 way sli. Thankyou

go for a z68 motherboard instead, have a look at the asrock extreme7 gen3@£230(cheaper than the asus I believe and future proof).

psu look at antech or corasair.
