Greetings.

I have chosen a build and I would like some help figuring out where to go from here. It consists of:

CPU: i5 2500k
MOBO: Asrock z68 Extreme4 Gen3
SSD: Crucial realSSD M4 128GB
RAM: Samsung Green 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz

£800 is the budget. However, it doesn't have to be that high.

It will be used mainly for gaming and I already have the OS, peripherals, ect.

Now, I still need to add a graphics card to the build but I'm unsure what to add; preferebly, I'd like to play games at high/ultra settings and my max resolution for my monitor is 1920x1080.

I have an OCZ Mod extreme-pro 500w PSU rated at 82% efficiency(I'd like to keep this the same).

So what I need is help deciding, what GPU to buy, and whether any of the components I have chosen would be worth changing.

Thanks.

That's my setup. Very happy with it.

As for a GPU, a 7850 2GB, which is on par wiht a 6950 2GB / GTX 570.

Looks good, depending on how many games you have the SSD might not be enough, my Windows install would be about 35GB if you include stuff like Office, drivers, browser and stuff like that, but i have filled up a 64GB SSD without installing any of my games on it, but I have to have lots of development software, and that takes up between 8 and 10 GB, still doesn't leave much room if you exclude that! I have a fast 500GB for my games along with a 2TB for my media then a 1TB for backing up important files.

But if you are happy, then I like the look of that! Wish I had got that board over my Gigabyte one, looks like a better overclocker.

As for GPU, I have a 6950 2GB and I can recommend it, but the newer gen 7850 as olivier renault said seems on par with it if you want that and can get that cheaper.

Edit: Seems it is literally exactly the same so its just price i guess with the GPU.

Continuing from yesterday, I was thinking of going with Idleman's build but I'm wondering what sort of overclocking ability I will have with the RAM he has chosen. Or would it be better to stick to the RAM I have chosen for a better overclock?
