Hey guys,

Building a new computer as the old one died recently. Im an architect so I use some rendering programs and photoshop, I love games too so Im looking for something with a high enough spec. Already done some snooping and discussing with mates so I have a fair idea what I'd like. But I'd love some feedback on what I've chosen and help finishing it off.

First I'm liking this bundle: "Krypton Z77 670i" Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz DDR3 Ivybridge Overclocked Bundle- with the optional 26 quid upgrade (why not)

I also like thi graphics card: MSI GeForce GTX 660Ti Power Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

As for whats left Im not sure. Standart 1tb hard drive will do, I've got a psu (650 corsair) I could use but I dont mind getting a new one if I need. I havent a clue on cases but I like the look of this and its on offer!

That's it! Thanks in advance!

Thanks for getting back to me. It all looks really good but cant help but notice you've dropped the bundle. Are they cheaper bought seperatly?is overclocking handy to do?

not much of a budget, kinda wanna be a bit greedy but i guess i would spend upwards of £1000

its down to preferences really.when i started i used autocad on a windows and everything else (photshop, cinema 4d,archicad,3ds max sketchup etc.) ever since has been on windows too. I have heard apple is great but i guess im a windows guy :)

however i am planning on getting a macbook in the near future. i wanna see what all the fuss is about

all looks great. just wanted to ask, is the asus board i picked orignally not worth the pennies?i like asus and just wanted to know why you'd choose something else instead of it

thx

i was told that hyperthreading would help with my programs, but was also told an i5 would do the job so was trying to stretch the pennies as much as possible. but would get an i7 it made a dramatic difference
