Spilt bear on my laptop and it has died so need something new.

Budget: £800ish
For: Gaming, basic office work.
Games: CODMW3, BF3, Total War.

Special request, I need to build in two stages if possible.
Stage 1: Basic computer that can use internet, office etc
Stage 2: All the editional things to make it decent, GPU etc.
I am not fully sure what I can get away with in stage 1.

Thinking;
CPU - 3570k
GPU - 7850

I have a HDD, getting a SSD in stage 2.

Any help? Does this even make sense?

No need for 16gb RAM, any cheap 8gb kit will do

I'd be tempted to go with a Gigabyte board.
Do you need monitor, keyboard, mouse in that budget?

well it depends if you will need to use any disks if you do use them at all it is 100% needed suppose the cooler is not needed untill step 2 that was just me getting carried away

i only recommended 16gb ram as it is so cheap may aswell go 16gb than 8gb and not buy any again for many years
