Hi All,

I am in the market for a new pc. Currently I am running the following:
  • Q6600 G0
  • 4GB OCZ RAM
  • Sapphire Toxic 5850HD
  • MIS Neo P5-F
  • Random 1000W PSU that I am surprised hasnt killed anything
  • Windows Vista
  • 750GB HDD

I have come around to the fact that the pc just is not cutting it any more. Boot times take 5-10minutes normally and it just feels old now, I have been needing it for a while but kept it alive with a graphics update alone.

So what I need is a complete overhaul! I have looked at the following and would like some opinions if possible.

I have been following similar threads on the forums for roughly the same budget for the past 2 days or so to give me an idea of whats available.

Currently I do not need a monitor, I am looking to upgrade this lot first then get a new monitor around Christmas time. Running a Samsung P2350H.

The only thing I do not really wish to change is the case, the rest I am open to suggestions about.

take a look at this spec. If you have a window why not have a colour scheme. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=23011296&postcount=45

Change the gtx 680 to the 7970 doesn't have to be the lighning. Just have a play with it, its another option.

You build looks good. Though id change the motherboard for the z77x dh3, the sad to a Samsung and ram to some cheaper 1600mhz.

@Doomedspeed Cheers for that link, looks a nice build you have. Its not for me though, I did have a look at a few differing colour schemes but decided I didnt really mine. I went for the M77 as it does look sleeker than any other boards I have found.The window on the case I dont really care for. I just like the crisp looks of the case overall.

@stulid Thanks, I swapped the SSD out for the Samsung varient you linked.

Currently waiting to see if I can place an order with a UK billing address and European delivery address. If so I hope to go ahead shortly with a purchase.
