I am in the process of upgrading my system with the intent to get into more PC gaming, CoD/Assassins Creed/Racing, just wanted to know if anybody would do anything different to this? (I am dead set on the case/SSD) Want to spend around this price, can't stretch it too much right now unfortunately. (Sorry I don't know how to post a basket.)

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 WindForce 2X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £179.99
Corsair Obsidian 650D Gaming Midi Tower - Black - with FREE Corsair Dual Pack AF120 Performance Fans £149.99
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £99.98
Samsung 128GB SSD 830 Series SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Drive - (MZ-7PC128B/WW) £89.99
Seasonic S12II 520W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £54.98

Total : £589.93

I did a power supply test thingy with the components and it came in at 430W. Will be adding to the CPU, Memory, HDD in my sig. Getting a better Zalman fan for xmas.

Cheers

Are you upgrading from your spec in sig?

If so have you considered overclocking your i5-750 and installing a proper gaming video card?

Yes, from my sig spec. Haven't considered overclocking as I am a little wary of doing it myself, even if I had expertise knowledge on hand :) my bro could do it for me but I didn't think I'd need it?

The card is the main upgrade I want, but I've been wanting a new case/mobo/PSU since I got my current ones. (It was a very budget build two years ago)

And the SSD is just, well, it's an SSD :)

I didn't really wanna pay for another CPU as I paid that amount only 2 years ago.

I totally forgot about the 1156 though. Dammit.

Just forget the motherboard and buy everything else, or go with Idleman's suggestion. Your processor will hit 3.5-4 ghz easily with a bit of overclocking but even without its still a respectable processor with at least another year of life left in it. My i5 750 has sat at 4Ghz since I bought it and I have no plans to upgrade it this generation it struggles with absolutely nothing.

It was cosmetic reasons only really, getting the all black case, I wanted a new black mobo to match :) I can live with the blue tho. Can always update both later.

Idleman's suggestion is what I want, but don't wanna spend that much on the GPU. Also was going to get a Seasonic PSU, I like the look of corsair but I have heard Seasonic are more reliable. Although I would like modular so it looks good :)
