I've decided to rebuild my aged pc and take the plunge (not literally I hope) and go WC.

I'm getting an asus px979 pro and intel i7 3820, so the cpu block has lots of choice and that's all good.

But for cost saving I want to continue using my existing vid card, the machine is a heavy work machine rather than a gaming rig so I can probably live with my old card for a while longer.

So my question is what if any vid blocks will fit an ASUS 8800GT, I know I'll have to put passive coolers on the rest of the card but that's not a problem.

Cheers

Andy

I've possibly answered my own question, I emailed swiftech to see if their MCW82 would fit and they said it should be no problem. So that's one solution in the bag, does anyone know of any others?

thanks Benny, a very useful resource, it looks like a lot of EK's modules will do the job. I'm going to put my initial wish list together and see what people think.

okay I've got my initial spec together and I'd like your input.

The PC will be in a Cosmos 1000

MB Asus P9X79 PRO
CPU Intel Core i7-3820
GPU Asus 8800GT 512MB GDDR3
Memory 32GB G.Skill (8gb * 4)

so onto the WC :

Blocks :
XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock
EK Water Blocks EK-VGA Supremacy

Pump 12V Laing DDC-1T Pro 10W w/Alphacool Top
Reservoir Alphacool Repack Cooling Slot-In Delrin white Special Edition or
Aqua Computer Aquabox Professional 5 1/4" - White Delrin
Radiator Hardware Labs Black ICE Radiator SR1 360 (fans to be decided)

Hose uv-active white is masterkleer okay? 7/16 diameter is this okay
white compression fittings - how many will I need and what make?

Sensors / lights etc

So, will this do the job? and is a a good mix?

If need be I can easily fit another 120.1 if I need to, but more than that might a bit of a problem.

I've had another look at my case whilst waiting for advice (nudge) I can only fit a 240 at the top and so I'd need a 120 at the side (it will fit) but if I ran an external rad would I even need fans on the external rad? I'd need something in the case just to remove heat generated by the non WC parts but they could run so slowly that they wouldn't be heard.
