hi,

I decided to build a new PC with the dawn of next gen gaming looming upon us and spare cash thought I'd rival with a new build. My old build of a Q8200 oc'd at 3.0ghz, 6GB ram, 460GTX wasnt cutting the mustard anymore and struggled on bad company 2 nevermind newer games...

So I decided to go for
i7 4770K
Corsair Hydro H60 V2 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler = biggest ball ache ever!
16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro
Sabertooth Z87
Samsung 840 Evo 240GB SDD
Corsair HX850 850W

while using the following from my old PC..

320GB Barracuda Drive
1TB 7200 RPM HDD
NZXT Lexa S case.

With the following coming later as I was undecided on what new graphics card to get...

I ended up getting a ...
CM Storm Sryker Case White
780 GTX 3GB inno3D iChill HerculeZ

I've not got pics of in the old case, as that was horrible and painful.

I lie.... :(

I'm really liking this, not often you see a white case and it looks really good. that Grapgics Card is a total monster, have you got some additional support for it, as it looks very heavy and might start to sag in the not to distant future :(

Cheers ... Not really thought about it sagging. now you've got me wondering

I'll check it once a month but in the next 6 months, I reckon I'll be SLI'ing it then I'll look into it.... /crosses fingers.

Had the same case but black. I would rotate the fans on the HDD from the side to the front ;)

Tbh, i've got no issues with cooling. The GPU has 3 fans on it and never goes above 65c and the CPU i've not noticed go above 55c and thats overclocked to 4.3ghz

Reckon when I SLI it I'll get a better cooling solution, until then would seem like work that i can avoid! :D

how long is the gpu ?, and please a little more cable management :D

the GPU isnt that big tbh its the heatsink, which is a good few inches more. overall I think it's 300mm -the case is 322mm! Win! :D

cable management, by my old cases standards I'm managing this one well ;)

How come I never saw half of those photo's?

Honestly looking for inspiration for your own project and you come across that of your mate randomly. It's a disgrace I tell you!

Your HDD cages look slightly different to mine though, I thought the only major difference between the Stryker and the Trooper were the colour, the standard window and the e-SATA on the front. Turns out I was wrong...
