Howdy all,
Thought I'd make a thread on the goodies I have coming tomorrow for my new build!
Ordered a daft amount of parts but wanted it to cream over 1440p easily so had to sec for it. Decided against going for a x79 setup again as the last one was a nightmare to overclock and keep it stable due to the amount of heat the CPU produced. Because this is a gaming machine, the 4770k will do nicely. I've combined that with an Asus z87 formula mobo and 16gb of geil evo 2400mhz ram.
For graphics power I've got 2x evga 780 ti superclocked, plus the evga sli bridge. This is with a 500gb samsung ssd + 3tb seagate 7200 rpm hdd for games. There's a superflower 1000w psu powering it housed inside a cosmos 2 case.
Keyboard I've gone with is the logitech gaming brown switch mechanic one, whilst the mouse is a logitech g500s. The monitor is an iyamma 27 inch 1440p job that's supposedly awesome for gaming due to no input lag. I already own a pair of razer Tiamat 7.1 headphones to go with the build.
Building tomorrow so I'll take some pics along the way!
Ps, ocuk have also provided me with loads of bit Fenix sleeved extension cables, which should look rather nice inside the rather spacious case.
