That time again. Building a works PC that does some web design (Joomla, CSS etc) and some Photoshop CS6. It's low grade stuff but multi-tasking is causing problems with Chrome, FF, Dropbox, Outlook, CS6 etc. all being used on the old machine and laptops we use. These are some bits and pieces I've got already (old and new):

Antec 300 case £40
Corsair Builder Series CX 430w Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £36
Windows 7 Pro 64 £109.99
Samsung LS22C570HS 22" Widescreen LED Monitor £109.99

Need: mobo, CPU, RAM and GPU. Trying to keep things cheap, but open to ideas if they can be justified as it'll get a lot of use.

I've got a few old HDD's lying about but probably time to bang a SSD drive in.

TIA :-)

I was going to suggest one, but you guys usually persuade me to break it! I'm guessing £250-300?

I'm used to workstations or gaming rigs, not halfway houses like this TBH.

Ah, good thinking. The on-board graphics should be up to it. If not, then the upgrade wouldn't be much. I might actually have an old GPU somewhere.

Hmm, so I could actually go for an i3 and save £40, but the i5 would plough through the multi-tasking nicely. The i5 makes sense.

Much appreciated. I wouldn't of thought to do it that way round.
