Hi I am looking to upgrade/replace my 5+ year old pc. I am thinking of doing it incremently but not 100% on this yet. So from my current machine I am looking to keep the PSU (DARK POWER PRO 7 650W) and the old graphics card (Radeon HD 5770)

To get the ball rolling I am looking at getting;

I'd possibly get a new case straight away too, something like the fractal R5 because its got good reviews and apparently quiet and I quite like the no frills look it has.

So after that I'd get a GPU, new cooler and OC and maybe a new PSU if required.

Will be used for software development and gaming. Rather than a specific budget I am just trying to get good bang for my buck.

Does this all seem resonable? Will my old PSU and GPU tide me over initially? I am really not sure about memory, in terms of brand/speed etc. Also any other case recommendations?

I went for 2133mhz memory as it was cheaper and it meant I could get 16gb CAS9 memory whereas I could only afford 8gb 2400mhz CAS 10 or higher and it was more expensive.
I did some research and for me there was zero advantage getting 2400mhz memory and it was only beneficial to get better benchmark results which I didnt need. It makes zero difference to games.

They seem like good choices (the board ha s a 5year warranty and a free upgrade within 3 years) apart from the RAM which is both expensive and not fitting the boards colour scheme.
