You'll need a cooler (max height 150mm for that case).

Don't know anything about the Cougar PSU, only there are other more well known, tried and tested options available for less cost. SuperFlower Golden Green 550W Gold, for example. Or Antec 550W Gold. Even the SuperFlower Leadex 550W Gold (superior to all mentioned here so far) is currently cheaper.

Overall, it seems slightly overboard for occasional gaming, but I suppose if you're willing to pay for a good experience whenever you do game, then sure. And in that case, you could even go with a 380X instead of the 960, with a few tweaks.

Forgot about that cooler. For some reason the box version of that cpu which was on my mind is no more.

Enlighten me then. Why do you say it won't fit that case? Should I be looking at the Depth factor?

Makes more sense now :)

Anyhow, will skip i5 + cooler since I found i5 box elsewhere for the price of the oem here. However will definitely buy that water cooler later once I get everything running and start overclocking.
