He is wanting an upgrade and has built a list and is aiming for gaming at max settings or as close to at 1080p, occasional streaming and general use.

Hi

A few things stand out.

1. That LED strip is for certain Phanteks cases (Luxe/P400 etc) so it won't work with the NZXT case. Have a look at Bitfenix Alchemy for LED strips.

2. The Corsair CX Green label is low quality. I would change it for the EVGA GQ 750W (Or a 550W if no SLI is planned). The SuperFlower Leadex 550W is usually a good price.

3. I would swap out the SSD for the Crucial MX300 525GB. You get more storage for £20 less. The Intel 540 isn't that great to warrant the extra cash.

4. Have a look at the Asus Dual GTX 1070 GPU if you want something White.

5. I would buy W10 on USB. Also does your Friend still need a DVD drive ?

6. I would up the ram to 16GB then it saves having to add extra later on.

7. Maybe swap out the Seagate for a WD Blue. I personally prefer WD where possible.

Yhea agree with Lee, I would look at changing the PSU. Even in SLI you wont need a 750w and i'd avoid the CX greens.

maybe something like this if you want over 500w
