Howdydodydo!

I just acquired a 7900xtx for reasonable sum of £725 and would like to build a new system around that rather than chucking it in my current Ryzen 5 3600 rig.

I'm not especially interested in many features on a mobo. I can't imagine i will run mutiple m.2 drives, all my peripherals are USB, and i hardwire into my router.

A 7800x3d seems sensible.

Could any kind person offer some advice on PSU/RAM/Mobo I should consider? I just want to make sure I squeeze all the juice out the GPU. Are ATX3/ PCI-E Gen 5 things I need?

Thanks

Thanks, Micky. Is there any sense in getting an atx 3.0 psu?

Thanks, also Tetras. I'll check those out. The case is low on my needs, they dont add performance I had my pc in a drawer for while, and my current case is Lianli Pc60 i bought for a tenner off a colleague. The card is the XFX which appears to have 3 x 4pin.

And for PCI-E 5, would that offer anything? I'm not a regular updater, I'd hope to keep the whole system as long as it's doing the job, hopefully for 5 years.
