Thanks :)

You could go for the much cheaper upgrade version of Home Premium. It's only 32 bit but you can send off to Microsoft UK for a 64 bit disk that will cost you £7.20 including delivery. Only takes a week or so to get the disk and you will end up with a retail version that does'nt mess you around when it comes to upgrades. You don't even need a OS to upgrade from as you can do a fresh installation. I went down this route before Christmas. Got a brand new sealed Vista Home Premium upgrade off the bay for £45 and sent off for the 64 bit disk. Even with the Christmas break it took less than two weeks to arrive. Full retail for £52.20. Bargain.

Have you noticed the terrible positioning of the main ATX 24 pin connector on the standard P5Q?

Thanks for the tip pasty :)

Now that you mention it, isn't it going to be fidly to fit anything close to that 24 pin connector? Seems like the gc will bang straight against it! Any owners can comment on that?

Be aware that when sending off for the Vista 64bit CD it 2 weeks. That is what i did and it took 2 weeks so if your planning on building say next weekend then you wont get the 64 bit CD in time.

Also i would go for the Biostar P45 board. Its brilliant. Also it has lots over brilliant extra features such as (memtest 86), but it best SP is overclocking ability

Yeah, for some reason the ATX 24 pin connector is in a poor position, but it's only on the P5Q, the pro version seems to resolve this. So I'd pay the little extra for the pro. Also I noticed that the 4870 you've spec'd has been reduced, so even better :) Unfortunately the cooler and ram have went up in price, but not by much. I'd also just stick with 64bit premium you've got there.
