Hey guys, Im thinking about upgrading my gaming rigs bundle.

I currently have a i3 overclocked bundle (socket 1156) with a 560 ti and im looking for somthing with a little more oomph to run Bf4 and Arma2/Dayz at relatively high settings.

The question is, is it worth getting a haswell setup over the super overclockable ivy bridge 3570? If so what haswell would you recommend with a budget of around £400/£500?

Thanks!

Hi,

OcUK now do new Haswell overclocked bundles such as,

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-162-OE&groupid=43&catid=2512&subcat=2604

You get two free games with it too.

Check the cooler will fit in your case and check your case will take a ATX sized motherboard, lastly if you have any IDE drives, they wont work.

Cheers stulid,

I seen them bud, my point was how can i buy a newly released haswell build overclocked with 2 newish games for just £20 more than an ivy bridge 3570 on its own? Surely this means the 3570 is a really good cpu and has something to offer the haswell build dose not?

Any thoughts?

Haswell is newer, its faster clock vs clock than Ivybridge.

Unless the Ivybridge bundle you have seen has a SLI compatible motherboard, 16Gb of RAM or some other standout feature? then it cant compare.
