I'm looking at buying an i7 bundle and also a 500gb SSD. I have a 290 non x and an 850watt BeQuiet PSU.

Uses: Video editing and gaming at 1080p ultra settings on win 7

SSD I am thinking:

Bundle choice

ReFlex Gigabyte Z87
Gigabyte Z87-HD3
Intel Core i7 4770K @ 4.2GHz
16gb 1600mhz TeamGroup Elite black RAM

£472

OR

ReVenge Gigabyte Z87
Gigabyte Z87X-OC
Intel Core i7 4770K @ 4.4GHz
16gb TeamGroup Vulcan orange 2133mhz RAM

£572

Feeling like spending more on the SSD means I should get the cheaper bundle, but wondered whether the 2133mhz ram and 200mhz clock with that mobo will make drastic differences worth £100?

Also, I have been trying to keep up with the intel refresh due soon, but looking at the preview it doesn't seem much different, not sure if it's even worth waiting for...

Advice please!

Ask if they will swap the D3HP for the HD3 as its a better board and currently cheaper and get faster RAM.

Or buy the parts yourself and overclock it yourself.

1 x Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (2x8GB) PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX24C11T3K2/16X) £129.95
1 x Gigabyte Z87-D3HP Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £76.99

Total : £492.48 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Thanks, I'll ask them. I'm looking for a low fuss approach where I don't need to overclock anything. I'm sat on a set up with countless BSOD's and don't have the time to fix it. First world problems..
