New C Class Coupe

Can I ask, is the CLK (soft top version, but im sure its the same for a hard top one) a 2+2 or does it have 3 seats in the back.... and would car seats fit in the back?

Apologies if this goes OT, but ill probably get lambasted if I started a thread just to ask that.
 
3 series coupe surely. The C class coupe is brand new so I guess both would fit in this segment nicely. The E being the bigger brother.

Some might say the 6 series too but the CL class is that area really.
 
Why would you have two cars in the same segment?
The E Class is competing against the 3 Series, it's even based on the C Class platform.
 
Yes, and e class coupe with the 3 series coupe. The CL class is quite a jump up in class though, even against a 6 series. It is after all an S class with 2 doors.

See, there's not really any direct competition for it!

I saw a black new CL63 AMG on the M3 last weekend and it has some serious road presence!
 
Trouble is

BMW 6 series = 5 series Coupe

Mercedes E class Saloon = 5 Series rival

Therefore E class coupe should = 6 series rival.

But its not, the E Class coupe is the old CLK which is a 3 series coupe rival.

3 series = C class rival.

So if the E class coupe is the 3 series coupe rival.

Where does the C class coupe fit ?
