New C2D Overclocks

Ive been wondering the same, it doesnt seem good that everyones very quiet. Perhaps not selling as quick as first thought. Reading reviews they clock well still but would be good to hear first hand from those that have brought one

Yeah I would be interested to hear from anybody with one of the new E4400's. From what few reviews I have seen online these new bunch of chips seems to be pretty hit and miss when it comes to clocking.
For me the E4400 looks like the best bang for my buck at the moment though might just sit tight for another week to see if the prices come tumbling and invest in an E6600.

The new price-point for the E6600 is £150 and it's there now, so it won't drop much more.

The E6420 can be had for about £120 and when clocked up, will perform much the same as an E6600 so that would be where I'd stop.

The E4400 looks set to be a hot-running CPU as what good overclocks I have seen have been achieved at very high voltages.

E4400 was the chip i am most interested to see how its getting on, but it sounds like it is following in the footsteps of its little sister the E4300 :D

tried 3.44 upto 1.475vcore and it was unstable, dont want to push much higher as i dont want to cook the NB. Ordering a cooler for it tho asap.

I dunno, the prices seem to be in freefall atm, got £130 burning a hole in my pocket, either the e6400 or e6420 is looking good atm although I wanna see some decent overclocking results from the latter (you mentioned someone at 3.2GHz? is that stock vCore?).

£75-00 for the e4300, INTEL are really putting the pressure on AMD at the moment, I'm glad Quad is out now actually because its pushing the dual-cores down to a really tasty price!

3.2GHz at stock? Sadly not. I think he's on 1.55V  but he's not really as that board has horrific Vdroop so it's actually about 1.45V.

So you're actually running 1.475V

Scared yet? :D

I can't believe your load temperatures!
