got a new camera (sony t30), thought id take some test shots of my car. The downscaled versions seem quite grainy and noisy but the original photos are quite clear. here they are:

what do you guys think?

Looks like you've spent a fair bit of money on it, it's not to my taste, the lights don't suit it, and the black and green isn't my thing.

As long as your happy though, i wouldn't worry what other people think.

Looks great, just lose the brows. Been fancying dark wheels like that for a while and they look really good :)

Lose the brows - they're silly and pointless.

Assuming it's a proper 325i and not a 316 with badge job it's a tidy car with the black alloys and colour coding. 3 series arn't to my taste but it's a nice example.

im going to say i didnt really notice the brows but now that people have pointed it out it makes the front look more "aggressive"

for me i think the exhaust is a bit OTT especially when you then see its a 325i... time to debadge :)

momo arrows rock. friggin love those.

not too keen on the headlights, but if thats your thing, go for it

with the right breathing mods those 325s can sound so glorious. a cam job sees them close to 230. they are lush

Personally I don't like the wheels (personal taste though), the angel eyes are too bright and the brows look wierd, the front grill just looks like it's stuck on the front, the exhaust is excessive and the M Power number plates should be burned to death :)

That sounds very negative, but it does look pretty tidy and relatively understanted. A lot better than some of the M badged crap heaps I see driving round here

What did you resize the images with? Doesn't look like it did a great job, that might explain the difference in quality compared to your originals.

/me waits for someone to call me stuck up my own **** because I commented on someone else's car :p

thanks for all the replies guys!
yes it is a 325i :p not a 316 badged up lol, why stop at 325, be a chav and go 4 m3 lol
cant believe some of you guys dont like the angel eyes! these are a must have for the e36, for those of you who are into the e36 scene you will have probably heard of chromeline desgin, a company run by a guy called Ben who has supplied me most of my mods, i think he is the only supplier of these angle eyes. on e36 forums its hard to find anyone who are against these angel eyes, i have to say though they look much better in the flesh, photos dont do it any justice.
The eye brow thing....i think its a love it or hate it thing, i used to be a firm hater of eye brows but after seeing some on the e36 forum i began to like them more and more, i think it adds abit more meaness to the front.
The front grill is oem, i replaced it with the original which was chrome and more skinnier, it keeps with the green-black colour scheme.
on to the wheels, they are 18" momo arrows as someone has mentioned, i love these, got them for a bargain price with tyres from a member of the e36 forum.
as for the exhaust, have you seen standard 325i exhaust? its a skinny lil thing, most people have a supersprint twin, this one is a sebring twin.
the mileage on the car is pretty high, it was given to me by my uncle, i decided not to do any performance mods as i dont think the engine can hack it! its just under 200bhp atm but yeah with induction kit, remap/chip it could go quite abit higher.
i have number plate surrounds, you fix them where the number plate goes and they hold a normal number plate in place, having just normal number plate looked abit plain, to me these add a lil extra detail to them. i think little detail mods can really add some individuality to the car, e.g. i have black carbon fibre bmw badges, eye brows, black grill, number plate surrounds. when you look at a car these are not the 1st thing you notice, most people would notice a new bumper, wheels, etc. but its when you notice these little things it make 'o wow, i didnt notice that but it looks quite nice', if you get what i mean.

resized the photos with iphoto but sprayed the no plates with chocoflop, i think its chocoflop that added the artefacts.

years ago my uncle had basically the same car as you. it had so much done to it, eventually ended up with an M3 lump, short ratio box, cams, intake, exhaust, remap, 996 turbo calipers and 355mm discs and wide arches.

the 325 lump took so much abuse you would not beleive it. it was in the region of 225bhp when it was decatted and a 6sp box added. the only thing that went wrong with the 325 was that it stripped the teeth off 2nd gear one night.

the engine never missed a beat after thousands of miles of hard use.

wow wide arches aswel, he must spent loads on that car. m3's are so powerful, i never realised it until i joined the e36 forum, there are loads nearing 300bhp.
