Canon PowerShot A630, have a look at that if your budget is limited.
If you can stretch a little further (£200-220) the Canon A710IS is a smashing little "point-and-shoot"camera with good reviews to. I recently bought the Mrs one, (set it to "auto"
) and I have to say that it really does produce great snaps. Perfect for holidays, parties etc.
They come with a 16Mb card, you'll probably want to get a 512Mb card for it.
