New Car Around Summer Time: Decision Help

Hey all,

Over the summer I am looking to replace my current car, for the reason of fancying a change and more room/bhp in a budget of 10k.

My current car is a VW Polo 1.8T 9n3, see below:

Now I really am not sure what to go far.

I was thinking of a BMW 125I/135I, however seem to just be outside of the 10K budget.

I am not very keen on:

New looks of the Leon Cupra R
I thought of a ST, but why go ST when there is an RS!?
I have never been a big fan of French interior, always seems a bit 'naf'

I have been thinking of Golf GTI, but is much the same as my current car.

What would my options be for a car with:

200BHP+
10K Budget
Under 60K on the clock
Under 5 years old
Hot hatch/sporty coupé

Golf or Focus. Why go ST when there is an RS? Well, how about because the RS is twice your budget?

True, just would have wished I got the RS if I bought the ST. However onto reality...

Is there a specific model of the ST I should be looking into?

Would love to, however I do need rear seats and some practicality.

You can't think like that or you couldnt buy anything. No Golf GTI because you'd wish you bought a Golf R. No 130i because you'd wish you bought a £40k 1M. etc etc.

Drive an ST, then decide you don't want one
