Salary sacrifice - quite the saving.
Its a company tax thing. My accountant has been going on for a while about it but in broad terms its the same as giving myself salary increase by however much it costs per month but only paying 2% tax on the value instead of being taxed 40% on the wages I draw to pay for my personally pcp'd one.
Your right, my own M3LR is now 1 year old and worth pretty much the same as its purchase price at the moment so I can duck out of my PCP with a few quid in the bank and then swap to this when it arrives.
Long term I will need to buy again but this makes sense while the rate is 2%
I took the upgrade to performance as the sweetener to the change, didn't want to feel I was just getting the same exact car again so a colour change to white with white interior and the performance option. 3 Year lease. Should keep me happy as I tend to get itchy around year 3 of a car.I’m following you. I still would have thought the depreciation on the one you own (which in addition to interest paid is the relevant cost of ownership, ignore the PCP monthly’s) will be far lower than the cost to lease a new one and 2% BIK.
I guess it depends how much interest you are paying but the lease costs still need to be met either way via the business (which I assume you own).
That said not everything is about the money and clearly you are upgrading too!
Finally managed to pick up my wife’s Seat Leon Estate today. Just shy of 12 months since ordered… lol.9 Months for a SEAT Leon Estate... *sigh* lol.

Seems to missing dynamic turn signals though, so will be on the phone to them tomorrow.
My experience of ordering from Toyota hasn't been stellar so far. GR86 was ordered in April, went into build in July, arrived in the country a couple of weeks ago and is now sitting at Toyota's depot in Derby. Which is pretty quick given the current climate. Yet there's a hold on the cars being delivered to customers and Toyota won't say why.My GR Yaris ordered in May 2021 finally went into build this week. Should see it end of November. Pretty much spot on 18 months after i placed the order.
ITT Car's can be built super quick when they are missing half the componentsMy experience of ordering from Toyota hasn't been stellar so far. Pretty galling knowing that it only took 8 weeks to go from being built to arriving in the country, and now it's going to take at least another 8 weeks before its delivered. Some owners got the notification that their cars arrived in July, and haven't heard anything since.

Probably because of the semi-conductor shortage.
They were removed after a certain build week. I'm on a page for Cupra Leon owners (I have one), and they were removed after a certain build week due to semiconductor shortages.Dealer has checked and no options have been removed from what they can see. Will be taking the car over for their techs to confirm before they take it further, which is annoying as it's quite obvious.

It rubs your inner thigh as a reward for signallingWhat exactly is a dynamic turn signal.....
The scrolling indicators? Not sure how much you'll be able to get our of them for that tbh. They might tell you that you are free to hand them the car back lol
