hi

new company car in the pipe line and we get a choice it seems

pretty much a choice of these. i've numbered them in order of my preference so far based on a quick browse. i assume they's be 2011/2012 models.

1.Audi A3 sportback 1.6 (maybe 2.0)

2. vauxhall astra - sports tourer 1.7 (or 2.0)

3.Citroen C4

4.VOLVO S60 DIESEL SALOON D3

can get a test drive but really want to get it down to a choice of two

comfort is a priority, good seats, driving position etc
would like a decent bit of power too. i do motorway miles at times.
i have a vectra hatchback at the moment and the room is great
they are ALL DIESEL

any advise appreciated

:)

Audi or Volvo.

I'd choose the Audi though. The interior on the S60 is shockingly disgusting.

Only fault with the Audi is that it's at the end of it's cycle now and the new one is out soon. Can't believe how old the current shape A3 is.

Volvo S60 D3, despite people mistaking it for a 3 cylinder diesel. It is not!!

In fact it's a detuned 5 cylinder engine, but still produced 160 bhp. So unless you get the 2.0tdi (170) A3 (unlikely). Then the Volvo will be the best shout.

Plus it looks a lot fresher as everyone has already stated the A3 is old now!!

None of the above are "driver's cars", so I'd get the one which is the most comfortable/nicer place to sit... So as many have said; Audi or Volvo.
