New car purchased....

That doesn't surprise me really, as Autodata puts the time down to do valve clearances as almost the same amount of time to do the rest of the service.

I didn't say it was a quick job - in fact, I mentioned the fact that it was a bit tedious originally, but it is not difficult.

In the year 2010 I don't think there is such thing as a bad car anymore... all modern cars do the job they are built for. (hence crazy warrantys)

Some people like one car, some like another... the C2, well I don't like the look of it, but op does.. imo it looks abit girly, and hey thats coming from a i10 owner lol

I actually like the interiors of Citroens, something kinda spaceage about them, thats me though (and no I don't tap plastics and have wet dreams over the quality of dashboard)

Also, after doing some searching. £600 is what a main dealer would charge. But no, even they are cheaper at £570!

These BMW specialists charge just £278.

Making things up to reinforce an already weak argument? and you criticise me?

Making things up, lol.

Congratulations, you appear to have found the cheapest BMW indy ever. The prices for all the servicing they offer are very low indeed - Inspection 2 for my car at just £232, best quote from a specialist round here was £300.

The fact you've discovered the cheapest indy ever doesn't mean I am 'making things up'.

The Cotswold Price is using their Value M power servicing scheme, which similar to the regular value scheme, is designed to offer independant pricing at a main dealer to attract owners of older cars. What a suprise that this 'independant prices at main dealer' offer would be around the price I quoted. Some places will do it for circa 400 but a price beginning with a 2 is bonkers. Either way its more expensive than a service not including this work.

I look forward to you purchasing an E36 M3 after telling us all you wanted an RX8 but couldnt afford one. Infact I look forward to you actually purchasing anything at all.
