they are not the 15" Style 31s that were standard on lesser pre-facelift E39s, which look slightly similar.

Bushes are likely to not help with the bumps certainly. Toe, Camber, can be adjusted on the rear, the same plus caster can be done on the front too.

I've been pulling my coupe apart and the heater blower unit as far as I can see is accessible from underneath the scuttle panel below the windscreen, on the outside of the car. - Checking Haynes I'm right. Accessed via the scuttle panel via the engine bay.

Cheers. Did you have to remove the bulkhead panel? I spied that it could bolt off.

318's are ****, they're unreliable and parts are pretty expensive to get hold of. I would have bought an A4 TDi, much more durable and reliability is very good.

What's fundamentally unreliable about a 318? You're 18 and bought an A4 TDI? How old is that then? I'm sure it'll be about the same as the BMW reliability/cost wise.

I did look at an A4 but picked this. I don't like desiels either. Ebay is smothered in parts, as are the 4-5 motorfactors up here.. particularly GSF. Parts aren't really a problem on my near 20 year old valver, a decade old bimmer is unlikely to fall victim for that, even if it meant going to dealer.

If this is what everyone thinks of a 318 i feel sorry for any lucker that buys a 16! :p

For what I paid its quiet and confy as hell! Still don't like pedal box..
