Agreed when they first came out of thought they were pretty ugly but then I have a bit of a thing for "ugly/unique" looking cars ;)

Went for a test drive in one today and damn the thing is fast, normally aspirated as well so a little more predictable then a turbo'd car. They are very well screwed together and I'm looking forward to a rear wheel drive car.

Know a good chiropractor? You may need one after a couple of months of Z4 ownership.....last time I rode in one I got out at the other end with every bone in my body loosened.
:p :D

Sorry mate I've got to say that is complete rubbish :p , the Z4's suspension is very good, not so firm so that you feel every crease in the road but the car does feel very tight.

A mate of mine has a Z4 and when we got it we drove from Cambridge to Newquay and we both got out at the other end feeling fresh and we'd had some real fun an the A303 ;)

This experience is one of the reason I went out and bought the Z4

Ask on the BMW forums.

Thanks for your input matey, I have a "Warranty Direct" warranty on my Coupe and its always been excellent so I may try that.

I'm as excited as a kid at Christmas, off to see Xmen at 11:30 with a friend (Thai curry for lunch) and then off to Cambridge Beer Festival, oh all weekends were as good as this one is going to be ;)

Picked her up on Saturady, AWESOME! :D

The noise from the 3 litre engine is just fantastic when accelerating but when cruising it's a quiet as a mouse. I've been out driving around most of the weekend visting family/friends etc.

I managed to get the tail out a couple of times (on purpose) which has been pretty fun but I'm still showing the car a little respect as I don't want to get caught out by the RWD.

It has the most amazing 8 speaker stereo that you can actaully still hear when doing 100MPH (on a closed circuit obviously) with the hood down. The hood itself is amazing, very quick to deploy if needs be with no catches etc. When the hood is up you really wouldn't know that it was a soft top.

Also I can't seem to make it do any less than 30MPG however I drive it ;)

What size wheels is it running?

Bet you still enjoy the 5 cyl sound-track though! ;)

Wheels are

Front 8Jx18 (225/40)
Rear 8.5Jx18 (255/35)

the Fiat is a cracking care, I've now got to figure out what I'm going to do with it!

If only it would stop raining

So how does it drive compared to the coupe? Can't beleive I'm now gonna be on my own against Gilly's anti coupe barages. :p

Well I haven't sold the Coupe yet, the fact I've had the car for 8 years should be a testament to just how good a car the Fiat Coupe is, so never mind the naysayer’s (they know not of what they speak).

Performance, well the Z4 is quicker and the 3.0 engine is a dream but I wouldn't say the Coupe is too much slower to be honest, the handling is better on the Z4 but again I wouldn't say the Coupe should be too embarrassed.

The Z4 is a fantastic replacement (or in addition maybe) to the Coupe, I really couldn't be more pleased with it :)

On the warranty front I just got a quote from Warranty Direct (who I know are pretty decent as I had them cover my Fiat Coupe) for £310 (Gold Cover) for 13 months which seems pretty good to me!

Should've got an Elise, this thing doesn't ever seem to need petrol, it's fantastic compared to what I'm used to!

Well it's not too bad, even giving it stick I get around 30 MPG and the 3 litre straight six makes the best noise in the world (you can really make it bark), I'm always driving around with the radio off and the hood down.

Just loving the weather, erm finding long ways home, well I drove down to the coast yesterday which is about 100 miles out of my way ;)
