Hi, i'm looking to buy a new Graphics card for my Birthday at the end of May but i'm not sure weather to get a BFG 8800gtsOC2 or a 512mb 8600gts (If there will be any 512's out by then)

But the problem is, i don't know if my PSU would be able to handle the 8800gts. You can see in my sig the specs of my rig, i have also upped the FSB to gain a 10% increase as well.

Will the Seasonic be able to handle a 8800GTS as well as haveing room to OC' some more and mabey adding another 2GB memory in the future?

Also any news a 512 8600gts?

8600GT(S) seems to be very very very poor.

I think you PSU should be ok.

But dont get the OC2 version, just get the normal OC version. You can overclock it yourself. Im pretty sure BFG give a life time warranty aswell, so why pay the extra for something which you can do yourself for free.
 
I think im just gonna order a Seasonic 700w tomorrow and a 8800GTS.

Might be a lot of money, but it will last me a lot longer than my current PSU and a 8600GTS.
 
Get the 8800GTS, ive just bought the EVGA 8800GTS 320mb Superclocked and im gutted...BECUASE I CANT FIND ANY GAMES IT WONT RUN ON FULL DETAIL! Stalker, Oblivion, errr thats all ive tried, but those are fairly testing games :p

i found 1 game that strugles maxed, Quake 4. causes a lot of HD access even with 2GB RAM on XP
