New card dead

Got a BFG GTX OCX delivered today and installed it and nothing,green light on the back is on but the fans not spinning at all,could this card be DOA?

I have tryed the two sets of cables on my psu also tryed the other pcie slot.

Are you using both PCI-E power plugs?

Have you got another machine to try it in?

does the pc give a beep sound upon booting?

try the other dvi port

Yep both 6&8 pin fitted,not got another pc to try in.
No sound when booting my motherboard is staying at FF no other boot codes.
Tryed the other dvi port,now the card fan is working but still nothing.

Did the card come with it's own cables? You could try those

Be best trying it in another machine if you can.

EDIT: Your mobo running the latest BIOS, could be just something as simple as that with a bit of luck.

Got it to work in my mates pc so it looks like my problem could be motherboard.cpu or ram,im thinking motherboard as its been playing up a bit.
