New card - drivers

So it's been a while. Just bought a new AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB. Existing card is a AMD Radeon RX 5700.

What's the advice re drivers nowadays? Still use DDU uninstaller and re-install, or just bung it in and see what happens? Same driver by the looks of it.

I'd just go for it, reinstall drivers if needed.

If your drivers are very old, uninstall before the switch and shut down.

Got the latest drivers already, will see what happens. Should give me a nice boost though to be fair to the old 5700, it still plays stuff like BF 2042 pretty well considering it is 6 years old!

I usually do a clean install with video drivers. Just seems like good housekeeping to do a clean install, unless you've made a butt load of changes to the stock AMD settings.

They used to reset them if you sneezed anyway.
