There's not much to say. The price difference between a lower class card and a class 10 card (the highest not counting Ultra High Speed (UHS)) is so small that you should always go for a class 10, and just get it from a reputable website (be vigilant of the feedback if you get it from any marketplaces or other sellers on the rainforest site for example). Any of the big SD card names (Kingston/Sandisk/Samsung) should be fine.

I also personally think 64GB and upwards is a bit overkill. Just backup to your computer (and also another form of backup like external HDD).

Thanks for that, we do have multiple back up solutions I just didn't know how much space hd video would take up

I'm a fan of small cards it forces you to be more organised and avoids the annoying situation of tidying up cards when you have no idea which shots etc have been copied off and backed up and which haven't! Our s110 which we use as a fmaily camera to take everywhere is a nightmare it's full of pictures going back to when we bought it and I'm now not sure which ones I can safely delete etc!

I feel small but numerous cards are also safer in case of data loss, since if you just use one single large card for everything, in the event that the card fails, everything is gone. All your eggs in one basket and all that.

Sam philosophy here when I go away I take bag full of 8GB cards for my 5D mkii and change them pretty much every day means if I get corruption or more likely someone nicks my camera I know I've only lost a days shooting as the other cards are all in the hotel safe.
