Hello,

I have about 100 - 150 to get a new card can you list any options I haven't looked at gfx cards properly since the old 8 series.The most bang for buck would be good

I ideally want 1 gb of video memory to play the latest games on medium to high spec

I'm thinking maybe a 9800 gt?
 
The GTX460 is the card to go for in that price range.

It's towards the upper end of your budget, but is probably the best "bang for buck" card around at the moment.

The 768Mb version will fit into your budget, coming in at around £145 (eg this one). The 1Gb version is probably worth the extra £20 in terms of performance, if you can stretch to £165.
