Hi guys I am almost ready to get me a new graphics card but just wanted a final check see best bang for buck its ether a RX480 or something invida for about same price about £300.
I'll be gaming at 1080P on max ultra for now if I can.
Then on to 1440p if I get a new monitor in future thanks for advice.

Either the RX480 8GB or GTX 1060 6GB are the best cards in that price range.

The RX 480 8GB is probably the better card to pick for the long run. It's around 5% slower on average right now, but faster in DX12 and has 2GB more RAM.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if 18 months from now the 480 consistently beat the 1060.

Link doesn't work, if you are going to be moving onto 1440p later then you want something like a 1070/1080/980ti used. 1440p takes a lot more than 1080p. I use 2 x 980ti for 1440p because 1 didn't cut it on all games.

Asus - Too expensive
Sapphire - Lovely looking card, lots of features and great all round performer
XFX - Cooling and OC is one of best and current price is bargain as still pre-brexit stock.

So as I've never done overclocking before the sapphire would best suit me or would going for XFX be better overall longevity thanks
