New card which one?

Hi all

I will be looking to replace my graphics card in the next month or so (after processor upgrade) I am currently on a 7300GS which came with the machine, My question is which GPU should I get. I have some limitations with budget (wife controls the purse strings ) I have about £150 to spend so which will give me the best bang for buck as I have read reviews and they all say that they each one is better than the other!!

Whats the Manufacturer and Wattage output?

You would need to upgrade your PSU.

I think its time to change your PSU anyway. If your looking at any future upgrades it will be best to change it.

Corsair HX520W + X1950 Pro should be approx £140.

Yes, the X1950pro is absolutely miles ahead of a 7300 & are a complete bargain of a card, considering performance

Thankyou I think I have decided to opt for this card, my next question is i have found three variants pro, xt and xtx I am assuming the difference will be clock speeds? and again from what i can tell the XTX is the best. Next question, will i need a new PSU for this card? currently have 300w which came with the machine
