New card will it bottleneck?

Strongly considering buying the GTX 480, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-087-MS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1750 My question is will this card bottleneck my CPU, AMD II Athlon x4 640 3.0Ghz, i have an Elite 500w PSU if that factors in to it also.

Almost definitely.

That elite PSU will probably need upgrading also.

Unfortunately, that card requires two 6-pin PCI-E connectors on the PSU where yours only has one. I think a HD6850 with lower power consumption and only one 6-pin connector would fir very well in your system.
