I need a new card,looking at the first reviews of the 8800gt's if they're correct would it be advisable to wait a couple of weeks and buy one of these with th option to buy the next installment early next year,or just go for a 8800gtx,i'm running a dell 2407 at 1920x1200 so would want to run games at this res.
Also does the 8800gts run games at this res with decent framerates or is it pushing it to far.
 
Not a couple of weeks - more like 3 days till the 8800GT.

8800GT at 1920*1200 should be fine in my opinion although there is a difference of opinion here. 512mb is generally enough - unlike the 320mb 8800 which used to run out of memory at that kind of res with lots of AA+Af.
 
thanks my 7900gtx used to run fine at 1920x1200 but with the new games like crysis coming out i wanted to play them with plenty of eye candy.
 
The 8800 gt is supposed to be out on monday, then aprox 2 weeks after that the new 8800 gts should be due release.
imo best w8 see specs and price on the revised gts cpompared to the gt :D
